Payment and Refund Policy
Last updated: 21 September 2026
Scope of the policy and the products or services it covers
This Payment and Refund Policy applies to all purchases made through the website operated by trendixa. It covers access to Course A, our media trends platform that provides training and resources on modern studio formats, visual storytelling, camera planning, lighting design, and workflows for digital broadcasts. The policy governs both one-time purchases of individual courses and subscription-based access to the full platform. It does not apply to any third-party services or products linked from the site.
Prices, currencies, taxes, and any additional charges
All prices on the platform are displayed in British Pounds Sterling (GBP). Prices include value added tax (VAT) at the prevailing UK rate where applicable. No additional charges are levied for standard access, but users may incur bank fees or currency conversion costs if paying from outside the UK. trendixa reserves the right to adjust prices at any time, with changes applying only to new purchases.
Accepted payment methods, payment authorisation, and payment security
We accept major credit and debit cards processed through secure third-party gateways. Payment authorisation occurs immediately upon submission of order details. All transactions are secured using industry-standard encryption. trendixa does not store card details on its servers. Users must ensure sufficient funds are available at the time of purchase.
Order, booking, or service confirmation and when a contract is formed
Upon successful payment, users receive an email confirmation containing order details and access instructions. A binding contract is formed once payment is authorised and confirmation is issued. Access to digital content begins immediately after confirmation, subject to the terms outlined in this policy.
Cancellation rights and applicable cancellation periods
Under UK consumer law, users have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of purchase during which they may cancel without reason. However, because Course A provides immediate access to digital content, this right is waived once access has been granted, in line with applicable regulations. Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time to prevent future billing, but no pro-rata refunds apply after the cooling-off period.
Refund eligibility, exclusions, and non-refundable items or services
Refunds are available only in cases of duplicate charges, technical errors preventing access, or where required by law. Content that has been accessed or downloaded is non-refundable. Promotional offers and bundled services are excluded from refunds once activated. Personal circumstances or change of mind after access do not qualify for refunds.
The step-by-step procedure and information required to request a refund
To request a refund, users must submit a written request via the contact form on the Contacts page, providing their order number, email address associated with the purchase, and a clear explanation of the issue. Requests should be made within 30 days of the transaction. trendixa will acknowledge receipt within five working days.
Inspection, approval, rejection, and notification of the refund decision
Each request is reviewed within 14 days. Approval depends on verification against purchase records and platform logs. Users are notified of the decision by email. Rejected requests include reasons and any alternative remedies offered, such as account credits where appropriate.
Refund method, processing time, and when funds should reach the customer
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Processing takes up to 10 working days after approval, though banks may require additional time for funds to appear. Users should contact their bank if delays exceed this period.
Special rules for digital content, subscriptions, services, or promotional offers where relevant
Digital content on Course A is non-returnable once streamed or downloaded. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the next billing cycle. Promotional trial periods convert to paid subscriptions automatically unless cancelled during the trial. No refunds are provided for unused portions of subscription periods after the initial cooling-off window.
Failed payments, duplicate charges, chargebacks, and suspected fraud
Failed payments result in access being withheld until resolved. Duplicate charges are investigated and refunded upon confirmation. Chargebacks are treated as disputes and may lead to account suspension. Suspected fraudulent activity triggers immediate investigation and possible reporting to authorities, with no refunds issued for fraudulent transactions.
Mandatory consumer rights in the target country that the policy cannot exclude
This policy does not affect any statutory rights under UK law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and UK GDPR provisions. Users retain rights to remedies for faulty digital content or services, regardless of this policy. Complaints may be escalated to the relevant ombudsman or through small claims procedures if unresolved.
